Katie Rempe: Hey Magical Makers! Welcome to the February 2025 Horoscopes.
Whether you're a knitter, crocheter, weaver, spinner, fiber artist, or creative crafter, this horoscope is for you. I'm Katie, and this month I'm using a very special tarot spread that I'm looking forward to sharing with you. It's called the Unraveled Knot , and this is what we're going to use to advise each sign of the Zodiac what this month has in store for them.
I will be employing the Tarot of the Owls deck, which was created by Pamela Chen and illustrated by
Elizabeth Alba, and published by Llewellyn.

Before we dive into our tarot readings, let's dive into the unraveled tarot spread a little bit more.
This spread is perfect for crafters and creative minds. Especially if you're feeling stuck, uninspired, or unsure how to move forward with a project or an idea.
So let's talk about how to use this spread because part of what I hope this horoscope inspires you to do is not only take the advice that is coming through the cards, but also teach you how to use this spread yourself so that you can help your friends and fellow crafters with anything that they might have coming up.
So, number one, you'll want to grab your favorite deck of cards, and if you don't have one yet, the Yarn Tarot is always a good one to start with [00:02:00] since it's directly related to something most of us crafters use to some degree.
So when you're feeling particularly tangled up or needing a little creative reboot, go ahead and grab your favorite deck of cards, and then
focus on your question or inquiry or troubles as you're shuffling the deck.
Then we'll draw three cards, each of which will have their own distinct meaning.
Card number one is the knot, and this represents what is blocking me.
It could be internal, like self doubt, or external, like lack of time or resources.
Then card number two is the yarn.
It could represent people, a community, or even a mindset shift that will help untangle your knot.
And then finally we have the needle.
This card represents what action to take to move forward.
It could represent a new technique, a different approach, or even permission to just rest and recharge.
So now you have these three cards, but how do you read them?
If you're new to tarot or don't have much experience, [00:03:00] an easy way to interpret your reading is to read each card as a sentence.
By the end, you'll have a three sentence paragraph answering your question.
I'll be demonstrating this very method in today's reading, so you're going to have 12 opportunities to see examples on what I'm talking about.
Tarot is a wonderful resource for personal empowerment and growth.
So let's go ahead and shuffle up these cards and see what messages awaits us for each sign of the Zodiac this February.
Once I'm done shuffling here, I'm going to employ the use of my hex cloth, which is a pattern that is coming soon. I'm still workshopping it a little bit, I want to make sure that is perfect before I offer it to everyone. It'll probably be ready in February, like later this month, so hold on tight.

Sticking too closely to tradition might be limiting your expression. A new skill or tool can refresh your practice, so stay curious. Let your emotions guide your work. What feels good to create this month? A crafting tip for you, Taurus, is try experimenting with a new technique you've never tried before.

All right, next up we have Gemini. And for your knot, we have the two of swords, your yarn is the knight of swords, and your needle is the eight of wands. Overthinking is keeping you stuck. Too many choices and not enough [00:06:00] action. So, take bold, decisive action. Just pick something and go for it. Momentum is your best friend.
So keep stitching forward this month. And for you, your crafting tip is to write down your works in progress. All of them. And finish one before starting a new one. That's your challenge.

Very Virgo. So, start something fun and carefree. just because. By doing so, you'll find balance between work and play to avoid burnout.
